Come celebrate the end of Summer vacation the AFHC way! With the 8th Annual "Beard To School" Party! Saturday August, 27th, 2pm - 6pm at The Brixton. We will be manning the grill and serving up some delicious FREE food! There will be fantastic drink specials from our friends at Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey! Join us for one last hoorah before we all have to go back to the real world.

Official Registration/Sign up for our annual 6 Month Sprint Shave Off... With a twist! Do you know a guy that can grow a fast, mean beard? We've got a chance for them to prove that they can grow 6 months of beard bigger and/or better than anyone else! Our 6 Month Beard Sprint will challenge faces from Austin and all over the Country to put their beard where their mouth is, literally.

Now for the twist! With The World Beard And Moustache Championships just one year away we are adding on a second half to our traditional 6 month sprint. Introducing the Year Long Sprint to Worlds!! Instead of trimming that beautiful new 6 month beard, or switching to a different style, competitors will continue letting it grow for an additional 6 months. Then at World's, they will unveil that bearding milestone, the yeard (year long beard)!

Rules:
1) Take a picture of your clean shaven self with some sort of reputable date marker on August 27, 2016, and email it to austinfacialhairclub@gmail.com . Local competitors are encouraged to show up in person August 27th at The Brixton from 2pm - 6pm to register in person with the opportunity to have your mug shaved for free by one of the incredible professional barbers from Floyds 99.

2) Submit picture to austinfacialhairclub@gmail.com, along with your name and city, state, and country you are representing.

3) Show up to the Come And Shave It Invitational at The Mohawk, February 2017 to weigh in against the other competitors. (The 6 month/halfway mark).

4) Don't Shave!

5) Put your new yeard (year long beard) up against yeards from across the globe at the World Beard and Moustache Championships here in Austin, Texas. September 1-3, 2017 at The Long Center.

6) Party.

ONLY COMPETITORS THAT HAVE SUBMITTED PHOTOS BY AUGUST 27th 2016 WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN THIS CATEGORY
