  1. Austin (and friends) in the father land

    Well, we are officially back from our trip to Germany and Switzerland for the 2012 German Nationals. What a trip! We came, we saw, we did mildly well. We came away with a lot of 4th places, a 7th, a 14th and a 16th (congrats Moody!). AFHC good buddy Myk O'Connor grabbed 3rd place in full beard natural, and Aarne Bielefeldt pulled out the upset in full beard freestyle, coming home with the gold stein! Way to go guys!

  2. Austin Cleans Up Philly

    In a strong showing of dominance, AFHC brought home 4 first place trophies and one second place. And as everyone knew would finally happen, Bryan Nelson beat out Jack Passion in the Full Beard Natural Category. The picture shows how clearly Bryan's beard has surpassed Jack's in beauty (and also Jack apparent disbelief). The winners are below:

  4. 1st Annual AFHC Beardette Competition

    Come join us on Friday, the 24th, as we celebrate the ladies of facial hair! This one is just for you ladies, now you can feel the rush of adrenaline as men fawn over your facial hair.

    Categories inclued: Most Realistic Beard, Most Creative Beard, Most Realistic Moustache and Most Creative Moustache.

    The winners from the top 4 categories will go on to compete in the 6th Annual Misprint Beard and Moustache Competition on Saturday, Feb. 25th, for Best In Show.

    Competition takes place at the ND, 501 Brushy St, at 8pm. Get there early to register.

    Last, but not least, all proceeds go to Austin Area Animal Charities.
